We primarily build decks, patio covers, and outdoor kitchens, but also regularly take on fencing projects, sheds, home office conversions– anything with an opening leading to the outdoors. Courtney Monger2022-10-25We chose Canopy Builders to build a deck around our 10ft cowboy pool, they had competitive pricing (we reached out for three different quotes) and tons of experience with cowboy pools. They mocked up a design for us, brought over samples & then came to build the deck! The team was super professional and efficient. We are so so happy with how it turned out! This summer is their busy season, so don't be alarmed if you don't hear back over email. It is best to reach Tim by calling or texting! While they might not respond fast - they do AMAZING work and can get you on the calendar quick. I will also note that during the time of our deck build, we had multiple other contractors on site and our front gate was broken. Canopy Builders stepped up to the plate (regardless of fault) to help us get this fixed! We really appreciated that and would highly recommend.

Before reaching out to Canopy, we dealt with 2 other companies that stated they could work within our budget but then came over the top with a quote that was double our budget. Luckily we found Tim who was super upfront with all pricing, worked within our budget, and came up with designs that were way better than what the other companies had offered even with their increased budgets. Tim and his team were super responsive, polite, and did amazing quality work. They installed new fencing, a large deck, hand rails, a dog run/metal fence, a cool bench, and also coordinated with Cowboy Pool and Southern Turf Co to make our yard come to life. The before and after is crazy good! Will definitely be using Tim + Canopy for all our future outdoor needs (and already planning what to do in our front yard!)

I received 3 quotes and they were the lowest bid, but why I chose them because Tim, the owner seemed creative and knowlegable. Very friendly person. We have 2 gates put in and it was tricky, but Tim figured it out on the spot and looks great. Team showed up every day on time and really worked hard. Tim was a great communicator. I have had friends and neighbors come by and they really like it. I couldn't be more pleased.

Tim believes a solid grasp of building science principles is what helps the built environment best serve its occupants.
From designing a space to overseeing the finishing touches, Tim borrows from architecture and design thinking to create spaces that are as beautiful as they are practical.
Along the way, he provides crucial client services that any successful construction project demands: project management, estimating, and value optimization.
In his spare time, Tim can be found reading the Journal of Light Construction, homesteading with his chickens, and pleading with his wife and kids to participate in carpentry projects around the house.
Trey Munn
Project Manager
Born and raised in Central Texas, Trey’s knack for client service and eye for quality give him a natural edge as a Project Manager. Whether it’s talking through the design process with a client, creating a 3D rendering to convey a concept, or picking up a tool to get the job done, Trey is a one-stop shop for successful project delivery.
Trey’s experience in construction sales make him a great resource for projects requiring value-engineering, and he’s always ready to propose solutions when issues arise in the field.
When he’s not climbing your roof or trying to see how many fence pickets he can carry at one time, Trey can usually be found outdoors (most often on a disc golf course). He loves to spend quality time with his wife and son at their home in Georgetown.

Ashley is an office management professional who joined the Canopy Builders team in 2023. She’s the glue that holds the staff and day-to-day processes together, ensuring that communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams keeps our projects running smoothly.
A native Texan, Ashley appreciates the time she spends outdoors – in both the natural environment and the built one. In her spare time, she can be found strolling the square in Downtown Georgetown, being a homemaker, and spending time with her family.
